Chocolate Log (image)Chocolate LogThe Yule Log is an old tradition in Britain, symbolising food and warmth (the burning of the log) in the middle of the long cold winter.

Chocolate Log 2Along with the Gingerbread House, and of course the Gingerbread Men, it forms a part of the festive table where the appearence is as important, if not more, than the eating side of things.

They bring to mind a snow covered log cabin without while within a good log fire burns merrily and there is food aplenty.
