The Counties Of England

Each of the 36 English counties, 37 if you divide Hampshire and The Isle Of Wight or 38 if you include London as a county, have their own unique history and dialect. Each has its own flag, it’s own coat of arms and its own pride.

Each county also has it’s own traditional foods based local form and custom. Being an island, fish is common and as an agricultural nation farmed beef, pork, lamb, chicken and eggs are generally available ‘locally’ wherever you may find yourself.
